White goods and appliancesWashing machines, fridges, ovens and similar.
Structural workThings like joists, lintels, load-bearing walls, foundations and subsidence.
Systems that haven't been looked afterAnything not installed, serviced or maintained to British Standards or the maker's instructions, or that's been recalled.
Damage from misuseIncluding deliberate damage, neglect, or DIY repairs that don't meet British Standards.
Changes in the rulesWork that's only needed because legislation or safety guidance has changed.
Unsafe working conditionsFor example unsafe loft access, asbestos, hazardous chemicals, dangerous pets or pest infestations.
Fire, flood and storm damageAnd similar events, such as subsidence or lightning.
Materials over £250 per jobWe'll quote these separately, with your £250 allowance taken off the total.
What is included: labour on every job, up to £250 of materials, and the repairs listed on your plan.
