FixAble home maintenance services terms and conditions

FixAble is a trading name of Fix-AbleUK Ltd, Company Number 16656820.

Registered Address: 1.28, One Silk Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6LZ.

1. General Terms

1.1 Materials are capped at a maximum of £250 per individual repair. Labour is fully included with all subscription packages. Repairs where materials exceed this amount will be quoted separately, with the £250 materials allowance deducted from the total cost.

1.2 Standard subscription payments are taken on the same day each month as your original signup date (e.g. if you signed up on the 12th, payments will be taken on the 12th of each month). Customers may request to change their payment date if necessary by contacting us. Gift subscriptions are paid upfront for a 12-month term, at the same equivalent monthly rate.

1.3 A 14-day waiting period applies from the date of signup before the first planned job can be carried out.

1.4 Any missed subscription payments will incur a £15.00 late payment fee.

1.5 Customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of sign-up.

1.6 Standard subscription plans are subject to a minimum contract term of twelve (12) months ("Minimum Term"), commencing on the Subscription Start Date.

1.7 Standard subscription fees are payable monthly in advance for the Minimum Term. Gift subscription fees are payable in full upfront for the 12-month gift term, with no monthly payments during that term.

1.8 If the Customer cancels the subscription for any reason during the Minimum Term, the Customer shall remain liable for the full outstanding balance of all fees due for the remainder of the Minimum Term.

1.9 Where any sums remain unpaid following cancellation or breach of this agreement, the Company reserves the right to recover: (a) all outstanding subscription fees for the remainder of the Minimum Term; (b) reasonable legal costs, debt recovery costs, and associated administrative expenses incurred in enforcing this agreement; and (c) interest on overdue amounts, accruing daily at the statutory rate applicable under UK law, calculated from the due date until payment is made in full.

1.10 The Company may terminate this agreement at any time, with immediate effect, by providing written notice to the Customer. In the event of termination by the Company, no further fees shall be payable beyond the termination date unless termination results from the Customer's breach of this agreement.

1.11 All repair or support requests must be reported either via the website reporting portal or the WhatsApp number provided on signup.

1.12 No call-out charges apply at present across all subscription packages.

1.13 We will endeavour to have an appointment booked within 24 hours of an issue being reported. Where specialist materials are required, completion may extend beyond this timeframe.

1.14 The Company shall perform the Services in accordance with the agreed service levels and standards (the "Service Levels") as set out in this Agreement or any applicable Schedule.

In the event that the Company fails to meet the Service Levels (each, a "Service Level Failure"), the Client shall promptly notify the Company in writing, providing reasonable details of the alleged failure (a "Formal Notice"). Upon receipt of a Formal Notice, the Company shall conduct an internal review and within a reasonable timeframe, provide the Client with a written explanation of the cause of the Service Level Failure and any corrective actions to be implemented.

Only Service Level Failures that have been: (i) formally reported by the Client in accordance with this clause; and (ii) subject to an internal review by the Company shall be considered valid for the purposes of this provision.

If the Company incurs five (5) validated Service Level Failures during the term of this Agreement, the Client shall have the right but not the obligation, to terminate this Agreement for cause by providing written notice to the Company. Such termination right shall arise only after the fifth validated Service Level Failure has occurred and been processed in accordance with this clause.

For the avoidance of doubt, no termination right shall arise from any alleged failure that has not been formally reported and reviewed as described above.
